Atmega 16 pin output jitter when LCD updates
The problem exists in using the itoa() command during the lcd update. If I remove those commands from the code, everything works. Looks like Codevision has a bug.

Measuring Current using adc on atmega16
You won't need anything as sophisticated as Newton-Rhapson. At 50 Hz the rectified period would be 1/100 second, or 10 ms. If you set a timed interrupt to read the analog input...

Measuring Current using adc on atmega16
Please verify your shunt resistor. I am familiar with 50A/50mV shunts, which are common. I've not used a 50A/60mV. Anyway, if you are measuring a battery, you will have no...

Atmega 16 pin output jitter when LCD updates
I'd like to add something to this. This problem is related to the code which turns on PORTC.6. Below is the code which turns on PORTC.6 (named WESTCMD) None of the values shown...

Unique behavior on input pin - atmega16
The pin has been isolated, and it is not being used for ISP. So,LDEVRIES, are you suggesting that I use no resistors, and wire straight to ground through a switch? I guess I...

Writing to non-voltaile memory while running - ATMEGA16
That's good news. I only have about 10 bytes which have to be accessible to a user. I'm using Codevision, a recent version. I just upgraded a week ago. Do you have a code...

ADC reading erratically on ATMEGA 16
As you point out, it is stated right in the datasheet, p 205, that 50kHz to 200kHz are used for maximum resolution of the adc. Thanks.

ADC reading erratically on ATMEGA 16
Well Mr. Nedward. I reduced the adc frequency from 1000 kHz to 125 kHz and the problem is gone. Thank you for the help. Would you mind explaining why the adc frequency must...

ADC reading erratically on ATMEGA 16
So, I've been running the adc at 1000 kHz. Is this likely to be a problem? And why?

ADC reading erratically on ATMEGA 16
I should add that this phenomenon occurs at many sample rates. I have the ADC reading during the timer 0 interrupt subroutine. The overflow occurs at settings of 100ms, 500ms, 1...

Help reading AT24C512 serial eeprom module
David, I tried to implement your code. I don't have the libraries for your functions. I know you think that it's simple to implement these functions, but I would have to load...
