We have been using the command line utilities (e.g. atprogram.exe) to read/write the flash of our SAML22 devices for a while now, and ever since we updated to Atmel Studio version 7.0.147, we've started experiencing an issue with erasing/writing the Read-While-Write (RWW) flash on the device.

I know the update affected the device drivers. Has anyone else run into a similar issue or figured out a solution?

Thanks!

I reported this issue to Microchip Engineering Support, and they confirmed it's caused by a bug in Atmel Studio version 7.0.147 which will be fixed in the next release. They provided me with instructions for installing and running atprogram.exe from an older version of Atmel Studio (7.0.1188) as a standalone application (link below).
