Hello,

I am looking for a touch LCD, preferably 800 x 480, that is well supported by Atmel Microchip with full demo software in Atmel Studio if possible for ATSAMV71-XULT.

 

I am already aware of RA8875 SPI to LCD based approach such as Adafruit 1590. Are there any SPI LCD driver chip (just the IC, without the board) I can easily purchase at Digi-key?

 

Can the SAM V71 or E70 be made to drive the LCD directly with the SMC Static memory controller? What kind of LCD does the SMC section 35 of the SAM E70 V71 is talking about?  https://www.mouser.com/datasheet/2/268/SAM-E70-S70-V70-V71-Family-Data-Sheet-DS60001527D-1660339.pdf

there is example code in softpack for your board of lcd-ebi  interface  (smc is part of ebi)
