Hi.

I'm new with the SAM family, I just got the SAML11 Xplained pro board and loaded in the qtouch example with the QT7 touch module.
It all works fine, but now I need to add some extra functionality to it.
I need a periodic interrupt timer to handle some functions but I can't figure out how to get it working.
I tried fiddling with atmel start, adding a timer, setting the clock and event flow, but after all that all I got is a broken project that would not build.
I was suggested to look at this example: Github which uses a timer but the code provided there does not work in my project,
I suppose its because the event function is not registered.
I'm trying to figure out how to use all of this, but whenever I google SAML11 I don't get any useful results. Am I using the wrong keyword when googling?
Where can I find a example/tutorial on how to set up such simple peripherals and get them working, it should not be this hard.

The QT7 start example seems to have a timer already and includes example code for it  in examples/driver_examples.c, did you try that?
