Hi,

 

I have a new HW board design using SAMB11-MR210CA module. (Note: this is not SAMB11 Xplained PRO board)

 

When the ASF example from "GPIO QUICK Start" from SAM B11 is downloaded to my board , the Program does not jump to application 0x10008000 address.

If I force the Program counter to jump to 0x10008000 then my application is getting executed.

I assume there is problem in Startup or Memory mapping.

 

Did anyone face this issue before?

Any solution or suggestion?

I have got the same problem too on MR510CA modules. Is there any solution for this issue yet?

Hi,

 

First thanks sugandar for the Program counter idea, I can now finally run my code.

I am using my own hardware board as well.

I believe that the code before 0x10008000 is the BLE stack code included by the "patch".

If we don't reach our program is probably because the BLE stack loop/crash.

 

I didn't populate the 32kHz RTC oscillator yet, I feel that this might be the origin of the BLE stack looping.

 

I will add it next week and get back to you with my findings.

We have manufactured 250 pcb's with the SAMB11. About 10 of them are not working.

 

They can be flashed, but do not start at 0x10008000.

 

I've replaced the 32kHz oscillator. That did not make any difference.
