Multiple project in solution, debug all at once

Hi,

 

I have a solution composed of 2 projects, one for the application, and one for the bootloader.

The bootloader is just the sam-ba from the example bootloader project.

 

That would be perfect if I could flash the 2 projects and debug both of them as a whole, or at least one at a time.

 

Is that possible ?

You can debug one at a time but only one or the other with symbols. I have not found the LOAD Incremental command as in Keil Atmel Studio:

  • INCREMENTAL - adds the debugging information to the existing symbol table. This allows multi-application debugging.

You need to have the bootloader programmed to debug the application. Also you need to make sure to only update the flash used by program when entering debug mode.
