Loading Instant Contiki 2.6 on ravens & jackdaw usb

Hi,
I want to test the webserver and IPv6 examples of Instant Contiki 2.6 on my ravens & usb stick.
I have AVR Studio 6, JTAGICE and everything setup to do device programming.
I downloaded Instant Contiki and ran the COOJA simulation OK.
I then downloaded the contiki-master.zip files. So far, so good. I didn't find the .elf or .hex files to perform the device programming. So, I need to learn how to 'make' and which files to select for each MCU to compile.
I hope I'm headed in the right direction here.
All suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance!

Builds are made from the example directory with $make or $make TARGET=avr-raven. In the webserver-ipv6 directory that will generate webserver6.avr-raven, webserver6.avr-atmega128rfa1 which are .elf files for those targets (but .exe or .bin for Win/nix targets).

Is it proper to use AVR Studio for this or Eclipse inside Instant Contiki?

I've been working on this and found that to build the mote, use Cooja then use AVR Studio 6 to download the firmware into the Raven. Lots to learn on this.
