I have a 32.768kHz clock signal (that comes from a GCLK_IO pin of another SAM D20) that I'd like to use as a clock reference for a SAM D20.

I may connect it to XIN32 pin (PA00) and using XOSC32K oscillator in "External clock" mode. Otherwise I can connect it to one of GCLK_IO pins, depending on the GCLK Generator to use (for example, PB15, PA15 or PB23 to use the clock as the reference for GCLK Generator 1).

What are pros and cons of both solutions?
