hi ... i have a hc08 module... i build a circuit that contains pins 12,13,16,24... it is find by windows phone but it doesnt pair... how can i fixed it?!? it should discouverd by iphone .. but iphone couldnt find it:((( my circuit is wrong?! or i should progeram it to discouver by iphone

I believe your iPhone will only discover it if it's working in HID profile mode. The fact that your module has RX and TX marked, suggest that it is probably working in SPP profile mode.

As far as I can tell from Google, the HC-08 is BT 4.0, so no, you can't use it with BT 2, they are completely different.

hello,

 

The default setting of hc 08 module is on type 0.

In configuration mode, give the AT command "AT+type=2" to be able to pair it up.

 

Guys, but i am facing a problem in the next step, i.e. to finally CONNECT and TRANSFER DATA. :(

Like hc 05, it does not have AT+TYPE=3 possible to give, which is for pairing + bonding.

I tried 8-9 apps, ArduDroid, SPP bluetooth Pro, Serial terminal, but nothing seems to help my phone connecting.

it just stays paired up. Serial Monitor says, OK+connected, LED on HC 08 lights constantly, but my phone still doesn't connect.

 

Any suggestions?

Hi everybody
I tried. It doesn't accept At+TYPE=2

I can connect and send and receive data with two modules also with serial bluetooth terminal but not with Android and Windows.
I also cannot change pin
