HI,

I am trying to work on the ATBTLC1000-MR110CA BLE module for prototyping in of the project, When I tried to run example program with SAMG55 Xplained MCU, I am getting the below error

 

BTLC1000 Initialization failed
Please check the power and connection / hardware connector

 

Can anyone please tell me why this error is, since it is referring the third party library, i am not able to debug further.

I have followed all the configuration according to the example, connected the BLE device onto the Xplained dev kit on the ext1 connector.

on further verification i am getting the return type as below

///Invalid bus initialization
    AT_BLE_BUS_TIMEOUT = 0xD1

what could have gone wrong.

are you using the latest version? BluSDK_v5? if not, try

Also, make sure you are using the right uart (extension header, if xpro board)

The SAMG55 example application uses 4-Wire mode, are you using 4-wire mode? If so, have configured the efuse to adapt for 4-Wire mode

Can someone clarify what connections constitute 4 wire mode and what connections constitute 6 wire mode, please?

I am getting a similar problem to what you described above.

Can you tell me if you got it fixed and how you did it, please?

In particular, did programming the eFuse, as detailed in ATBTLC1000-BluSDK-v5.0-Release-Notes.pdf, fix the TIMEOUT error?

OK. I borrowed a Segger J-Link LITE CortexM to burn the eFuse but it wouldn't work. See screenshot below:

Why would it find the chip and then timeout when verifying or programming the fuse?

Could the Segger J-Link LITE be unsuitable? Do I have to use a SAM-ICE?
