I was wondering whether anybody had make effective progress with the BTLC1000 module. Judging by earlier posts, not only do the people posting find it fairly baffling, but as there are precious few responses everybody else does too.
Usually Microchip nee Atmel explain their technology extremely well. But this seems to be an exception. Many other manufacturers seem to have gone to extreme efforts to make their BLE products easy to use and understand (e.g Cypress and Nordic). Why is the Atmel product so poorly demonstrated.
I have managed to make it work fine at the Xplained level, but I expect to be able to use it on my own board which means I have got to follow the twists and turns of programming well. - I don't - A pseudo program would be a good start or at least some good commenting. I couldn't get the ASF version working,
I commonly use Sparkfun and Adafruit projects based on Arduino to work out more complicated programs for chips using their own API, but interestingly neither of these two companies have gone anywhere near this module.
So is their a guide for Dummies?
