I am taking Studio 7 and Atmel START for the inaugural run and I followed the instructions - I think, to create the configuration but I am not sure I did EVERYTHING
I have the following:
SAMD21 XPLAIN with a proto wing board attached to EXT1
PortB 0 - 7 as outputs, active LOW on powerup and INIT Named the pins data_0 - data_7
32khz external oscilator connected to clock generator 0 whicj feeds 8mhz clock to CPU
That's all.
My intention is to have the outputs count in binary, nothing more nothing less for this test.
I create the project in START and export it. I open Studio 7 and select IMPORT>Atmel Start Project, and tell it where the file is. Studio then goes about the process but I do not see a main.c, nor do I see any other files like in the picture below:
Since teh name of my project was Smart Start I would expect a SmartStart.c file, but nothing. No START.c, Start.h, or Start_pins either.
DO I have to create these files? If I do then this alleged 'quickstart tool' is kinda useless.
I have attached the file exported from the Atmel Start site for review.
Thanks all,
JIm
EDIT: LAUGHABLE, I cannot upload an Atmel Start project! Zip files only.
