ATECC508 error F4

Hello:

I'm using SAMD21 XPlained + ATECC508 board and running node-auth-basic example. I can read info and sernum (serial number) so HW is Ok.

However, when I try to execute client-provision or client-build I get an error F4 indicating device is in a state where it can not execute a command.

I read some Apps Notes where they mention some configuration might be required but I assume the example should take care of that. Also, running lockstat shows the device is already locked so no way to modify anything...

I would appreciate any help on this.

Yes, we see the same thing. I've an open support ticket with Microchip and am waiting.....

Might be a couple years too late, but I'm running into this same issue. Did you ever figure it out?

Yeah it was the locking that got me. Once I did that it worked just fine.
