SAMA5D2x:USB Device Port and USB Host Port

Hi All,

 

    The SAMA5D2x CPU is used for Our device.There is one USB device Port and one USB Host Port in the PCB board.A USB EHCI hub is connected to USB host PORT B.

    We meets a very strange issue now.When a usb cable is connected from PC host port to USB device port of our device,the usb hub that connected to PORT B may reset if usb flash is plugged.The USB Host will stop and the all USB client device that connected to hub can't work any more.

    The usb cable may not very stable. However we don't know if there are any relationships between the USB device and USB host port in SAMA5D2x.The are absolutely independent in the datasheet.

     Any comment or feedback would be very appreciated.

Hi All,

   When we want to recover the issue after the hub reset occurs,The PSS flag(Periodic Schedule Status) in UHPHS_USBSTS register can be switch to 0.

   Does anyone know why is this so?
